Worm Dissection (Annelida)

During this lab we dissected a worm (annelida) and I photographed the process and labeled each photo with parts I could identify.

We started by picking earthworms and placing them on a dissecting tray. We then immersed then in a shallow layer of water and ice. This was to slow their movements for easier nailing. Then we made an incision staring at the head and down past the clitellum. Then we pinned the sides down to expose the inside.
